Communication with Parents

Neither the parents themselves nor the school alone can provide everything a child needs. Both are vital and should complement each other. Information is exchanged with parents on a dialy basis  through a variety of methods. They include:

  • Parents Noticeboards in daycare and kindergarten
  • Daycare parents receive a written and verbal feedback of what their child did during the day.
  • Kindergarten parents can view a daily record of what the class did that day and receive any information via the class noticeboards.
  • Each semester a newsletter is distributed to all parents that outlines and important Wings news.
  • At the start of each new theme kindergarten parents receive a written copy of the class theme.

In addition to this, the parents of each child will have at least one yearly meeting with the group leader/ class teachers to discuss the development, strengths and weaknesses of that particular child. Likewise we expect and want parents to share with us their experiences with their children and provide us with any important information that may be necessary to enable us to treat each child with appropriate care and attention.

External Communication

The school has relationships with larger companies, which will potentially be "suppliers" of students. Communication with other educational institutions as well as with research on educational developments is a must. This enables us to be in pace with the developments and findings.
